Some Overgrown Monkeys!

A big aspiration of mine is to one day be able to write/illustrate my own children books.
I love coming up with bizarre and quirky stories filled with crazy characters... the only issue is actually writing them down!
So as of lately I have been working towards creating a pitch for one of my book ideas.
It has been a lot of fun trying to actually write a book! Though I think anyone will agree writing is equal parts fun and living nightmare... hmm well maybe a tad more nightmare...
I figured I'd post this test illustration I did for the book, since I don't think this page will really exist in the book anymore with some story changes (oh the process of writing...and yes rewriting)
I hope you enjoy these hairy overgrown monkeys!

I love those characters! The facial hair is classic. Monkeys are always cooler with facial hair. Good luck with the writing and creating process.

Hey Cale,

I don't really know you, but these illustrations are incredible! Really. I just sent your blog on to an artist friend of mine. I'm no artist, but I'm in the process of writing a children's book too. Good luck with everything!

Dear Cale,
I think your illustrations are awesome! Has anyone ever approached you to illustrate their books...if not...hello!

I am writing 2 books at the minute (one fiction and one fictionesque) and will be taking a year off to finish writing at least one of them! Hope I can speak to you soon!

Want to welcome your business client at the airport arriving from a different corner of the world. You will definitely need an
